Puppy Curriculum
Setting foundational guidance during key neonatal stages for
happy & balanced puppies
At Kettle Cove, our puppy upbringing includes strategic interactions and exposures during early development. Our methods are drawn from various thought pillars in the puppy raising community including Badass Breeders and Puppy Culture (key influences are shown below).
These dedicated efforts, help to ensure that our puppies will grow into adult dogs that are more mentally sound, adaptable, and are easy-to-manage. Our evaluations also help to pinpoint any obvious struggles one puppy might have, over another, so that can be a focus during training or can be avoided in an improper placement. Statistically, the number one reason dogs end up in shelters is behavioral issues and the curriculums that we follow are tools that we as breeders utilize to help to diminish the risk of behavioral issues in our puppies.

As dog owners, you bring these beloved animals into your home, trust them with your family, expect them to join you along the journey of life...the overarching goal of our curriculum is to make sure our puppies grow into dogs that can take on these important roles in stride <3 .
CONSISTENCY AFTER GO-HOME IS THE KEY TO LONG-TERM SUCCESS.
