Okay, let's talk about Hydra Volumizing Shampoo! I also use their repair mask, moisturizing conditioner, and the dematting finish spray. In this video, I am attending to my sweet but sometimes stinky, Standard Poodle, Harry. I'm just going to show you quick how I do the dilution of this formula. Per the bottle instructions, the Hydra Volumizing Shampoo is a 4:1 ratio but Hydra consultants have told me I can play with that a bit as needed (more or less dilution). I'm pretty big on repurposing to reduce waste so I like to mix ours in an old maple syrup glass container. I can never believe how good it smells; it makes to me look forward to the bathing process. It's not overpowering but present enough to leave an impression.
For bathing, You can either keep the shamp
oo dilution in the glass bottle (or whatever you use to mix) but sometimes I also like to pour it into squeezy bottles for a better application. You can repurpose like me, I use an old ear flush container but Hydra and many groomer supply vendors will sell these mix bottles as well. This video is actually showing you a snapshot of the the entire proc
ess, of including the intense mask, drying, brushing with the Chris Christensen Slicker Brush and then combing Harry out. He's so gorgeous when he's all done! He's such a big hairy man. We're going to be showing him in some UKC conformation shows so we need to keep him clean. I do just really appreciate this formula. It works universally on many different coat types, it dilutes really nicely, and it smells delicious. If you're aiming for that spa quality experience, Hydra products are it. I love that I can use the same product on puppies all the way to adults. And I just LOVE the final picture. Th
ere's so much body, so much volume; I'm super impressed!
Part of my process also includes this intense repair mask. I will dive into the details over on that product page (to come soon ...follow link).
