Local Grooming Services

Let's face it, any type of 'oodle needs to be groomed on a regular basis. Your preferences, but more importantly your lifestyle should help dictate the type of style you choose for your pup. Some styles need to be brushed a few times weekly and bathed/groomed biweekly. Some styles (one length, shaved to 3/8" or shorter) can go 4-8 weeks in between full grooms and need a once-a-week slicker brush treatment.

At Kettle Cove, we start the grooming process on our standard poodle puppies at about 4 weeks. We start off by desensitizing them to the look, sound, and feel of general grooming equipment and, slowly but surely, hold mini grooming sessions with them to create a positive association, from early on. I (Corrie!) love nothing more than a newly trimmed, fresh-smelling, clean poodle head and poodle prance!

As an added convenience to our KCSP owners, we are opening the option to bring your pups/dogs back to us for grooming services! I am not a professional groomer by trade but over the years have gotten quite comfortable with my arsenal of grooming tools! I can provide a comfortable/trustworthy environment for your pup, a convenient and dependable service for you, and offer it at a competitive KCSP family rate.
