The Garden Poodle Puppies
The Garden litter, a litter dreamed of since 2021, has finally arrived! As of the time I originally am writing this, they are one week old, healthy, and happily contented with Mama Abby as their primary caregiver. We started their early neurological exercises and scent exposures. You do these from day 3-16 to help jumpstart their neurological systems and impact their resiliency for the rest of their lives. For the most part, they are spending all of their time contently tucked in our nursery house. They eat, snuggle, sleep, & potty with the help of mom at every step. Soon we will have fireworks for the 4th of July and while they are still without sight or sound, the vibrations they will experience as these go off will help as an exposure. When those eyes and ears open up near the 2-week mark, and they start pottying and walking (or at least impressive crawling) on their own, it will be a new and fun phase of life. Starting at 3 weeks we will begin to get a little bit more interesting with potty training, increased exposures and socializing! Will update again then :)

About the pairing: Abby was enamored with Griffin, a UKC Champion, from Fargo, ND the second she met him. You should have seen her strut her little tush around! He has such a presence to him and a wonderfully calm demeanor. Papa Griffin is an impressive 7 yrs old, it's clear his health testing stands behind his proven longevity of good health. Abby and Griffin have no known history of bloat or compulsive ingesting behaviors (YAY! I highly recommend looking into this even if you do go in another direction). Both CHIC Certified, their phenomenal temperaments are doubled down with complimentary Standard Poodle conformations. Of note, Griffin has a great front end which can be hard to come by. His build is substantial and square. Abby's facial structure, ear setting, tail setting and topline look to be right out of the Standards guideline. Both have a springy step and beautiful necks. Offspring in this litter should be excellent companions for most family or individual dynamics, therapy, sports dogs, and/or hobby/performance dogs. We will reserve a keeper spot from this litter that we deem to be some of the most pertinent and desirable characteristics of a dog for our client populations.

Transportation will be considered but priority may be placed on homes willing to travel to bring puppy home. Puppies are due to be born on approximately June 24. They would be ready to join their new homes at 8-10 weeks, between August 19th-Sept 2nd.
