The foundation female of Kettle Cove Standard Poodles, Abby embodies everything we feel our program stands to represent. Graceful in her stance and movement, her petite beauty is outshined only by her kind and gentle nature. She's a playful and intelligent girl that on any given afternoon is up for trick training, retrieving, a snowhoe hike, a jog, or a friendly tussle with other members of the (dog) pack. She's a constant and welcome companion in our home, always finding the best places to curl up and bask in the sun or finding opportune moments to cuddle in next to her favorite humans. Just a genuine, all-around good girl. 

She's passed every health evaluation we've thrown at her with flying colors (CHIC #161482 Standards): DNA health testing (100% clear via Paw Print Genetics & Embark), Pennhip (Hip evaluations), Eye (OFA CAER), and Cardiac (OFA).

From an obedience standpoint, we train at home and have successfully gotten Abby Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certified as well as awarded AKC Trick Novice and Virtual Home Manners titles. Her bond with our children is incredible, our daughter, who is very in touch with her emotions, finds solace in the comfort of her poodle. Our son, gets so proud of how he can lead her into trick success alongside Mommy. I am confident that, in this family, the next generation of dog-lovers is secured.
